About

Katie lives in Colorado on a small acreage along with her family and way too many cats. The cats also happen to be her hardest critics and are constantly pushing her to improve her writing. They also insist that she needs to add more mice and cats to her stories.

A quick question and answer session by Kat Seaholm

Q: How long have you been writing for?

A: For as long as I can remember. There has never been a time when I haven’t been writing something. It’s in my blood.

Q: What made you write “In Search of Justice”?

A: So I adore mysteries, although I have had to cut back on them as an adult. They have a bad habit of cutting into my much needed sleep time. Anyways, October was coming up, so I challenged myself to write and publish a book before October was over so it would be out in time for Halloween. That and Aletta and Lirim would just not leave me alone, wanting to share their story with the world.

Q: What does your writing schedule look like?

A: I tend to be more of a sporadic writer. I often write in sprints of inspiration rather than sit down and write every day. It’s something I’m working on, learning how to carve out time to write every day.

Q: How many cats do you actually have?

A: (Looks away sheepishly and mumbles) Um, 8? Anyway, its a long story.
